Artists

Screenshot showing the artists form as displayed when navigated to

The artists form is where you can record everyone who receives a union contract for their contribution to the programme or series.

Union

The unions available to the system are:-

  • DPRS
  • Equity
  • Musicians Union
  • Writers Guild

If the individual doesn't get a union contract, they should be recorded as a contributor. If you are unsure, refer to Artist vs. Contributor.

Adding an Artist

You can search for artists using their National Insurance number or their date of birth. Simply enter what you would like to search on into the Search For Artist section and click Search.

If you are searching using a National Insurance number, the search will either return ready to add the individual in question or it will fail and return to the search form. When searching using date of birth, if there are matches the form will return with a list of those matches allowing you to select the required individual or it will fail and return to the search form.

Note

If the individual you are looking for is over 16, you must search for them using their National Insurance number.

Here you can see a sample list of search results.
